The Others Project Series

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love This Series
4.5 STARS
One of the best MM paranormal series ever. Well thought out and lovable characters and exceptional world building. I normally hate world building, but this author didn't make this so complicated that you become bored.

The reason for the markdowns Is because of the near year between each book. Believe me, you will crave more immediately.

SEVEN: The Others Project Book 1

A past that won’t let go…

After losing his job, Chase Sarim finds himself living in a shit hole apartment. His new neighbor calls himself Seven, wears aluminum hats and carries around a ceramic rooster. He also seems to know what Chase is going to do or say before it happens, and talks about people named, Nine, Three, and Four.

Chase knows better than to get involved with someone like that.

But some men are just too hot to resist.

A future of fear…

Seven has been running for his life ever since he escaped Sub-Floor. In order to elude those hunting him he can never have a home, never have friends…and love? It’s nothing but a weakness that can be used against him.

Hiding had become a way of life. Until Chase.

Greed, power, and corruption…

Dr. David Stone knows Seven has a secret. Why else would his colleague, Dr. Radcliff, help Seven escape Sub-Floor?

It wasn’t the loss of a defective precog that bothered Stone, it was the fact Radcliff was willing to die to keep Stone from knowing why he did it. Or better yet, how.

Two men, one love, brought together by a series of impossible circumstances and destined by fate for an entangled future.

But maybe fate has nothing to do with it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All of the numbers add up and make for a most astonishing and daunting storyline
Adrienne Wilder is a most amazing and creative writer. For this reader, the concept of this author's book Seven was unfathomable at times. Author Wilder is truly the wizard of plots and sub-plots, and also has a highly evolved and ingenious imagination.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐A Stunning Surprise!

This book took me by surprise. I really, really dislike science fiction. I don't know why. It's just a genre I don't seem to relate to.

I only purchased it because of the ecstatic user reviews. Please add mine to those. Somehow, "Seven" changed my mind about the whole genre.

The book was wonderfully well-written, ingenious, with just enough fact to make the science fiction almost plausible. The sex was great - explicit, but not overdone. But what really drives this book are the characters.

...I cannot say it strongly enough - buy this book! It is unique, powerful and beautiful, all at the same time.

THIRTEEN: The Others Project Book 2

Quinn Farlin’s life just went from the frying pan into the fire.

All because he made one stupid mistake: he fell in love. Then he was left behind by the love of his life as payment for her freedom. Now Quinn lives as a slave to the Kent Family Empire; counterfeiting, money, paintings, rare coins, and anything else to keep his knees intact and his heart beating.

There seems to be no way out until one night a fireball falls from the sky and a mysterious voice on the phone saves his life. All the stranger asks in return is help for friend.

A friend with scars down his spine. A tattoo of the number 13 on the back of his neck. A friend who upon meeting Quinn can read his mind and watches him with adoration.

And while Quinn is convinced he’s still in love with the woman who left him, his heart has other plans.

Now it’s just a matter of staying alive; a task easier said than done, since nothing is what it seems to be, and the world he’s always known just fell down the rabbit hole.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Yelped at the end, glad I have pt 2 already!
Definitely buy part 2 when you buy this one, but at the end of pt 1 it's worth it to me - nothing about Thirteen or Quinn's lives is easy or simple and I will continue on directly into pt 2. I need the rest of the story! Holy crap, that last sentence.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This book is way more than a number!
Thirteen is the second book of this amazing series and it did not disappoint. The characters built in book one, titled Seven, were rich, complex and undeniably surprising. It is a gripping story that had me on the edge of my seat until the last sentence. Then I just sat there with my mouth hanging open with my brain grasping at the concepts that Ms. Wilder had placed in my mind. Fabulous writing, exciting premise and enticing characters. Congratulations Ms. Wilder, you've done it again.
