Contemporary Stand Alone

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Incredibly told and vivid story

Spell binding, tender, haunting and simply beautifully told. This story of Paris and Roy, two completely different individuals in every sense of the word, took me by the throat and I couldn't stop reading until I'd finished the book. It was horrifying, glorious, entrancing and simply inspirational. It makes me wish I'd written it. Adrienne, well done on writing Paris' story with such compassion and honesty as he is quite simply was one of the most engaging and interesting individuals I've ever read about. Strong and weak at the same time, fragile yet with a core of steel, but always knowing that somewhere out there, things were going to get better for him. Roy was such a strong, dedicated and wonderful character and we all need someone like Roy in our lives to balance out the ugly we experience and grow stronger. I simply loved the ending too. So glad everything worked out.

Complementary Colors

My sister Julia manipulated my life into a prison to keep me silent about our dirty family secret. Her greed made me a slave and circumstance left me with no way to escape.

Trapped, the only way I could silence the nightmares driving me to insanity was to wrap them in color, hold them with shadow, and stitch them to negative space with line.

But no matter how bright the pigments, no one could see my confession.

Except for Roy Callahan.

I thought he was just another nameless one-night stand in a long line of many.
But I was wrong. Roy could see past the façade of my life and through the veil color over the canvas. He could see what the world couldn’t.

And with him I’d find the courage to tell the truth about the boy.

The boy who kissed me.
The boy who loved me.
The boy whose name I couldn’t remember.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Utterly compelling character, beautiful writing.

While the plot of this story is twisted and certainly strong enough to carry the novel, this is very much a character-driven story.  Paris is incredibly interesting, and lent himself to some beautiful writing.

As a 70-year-old straight woman this is not the kind of book I normally read indeed I didn't read the description when I bought it, just wanted some more books during lockdown, but I decided to read it anyway and I'm glad I did, this is a beautiful love story

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐EPIC PAINTS A VIVID AND BEAUTIFUL EMOTIONAL JOURNEY TO LOVE AND HAPPINESS

Adrienne Wilder's book, EPIC, is a masterpiece of emotional word pictures...

Author Wilder works her exceptional magic and writes a story about two people who are diametrically opposed and who should have no chance to connect with each other on any level. But they do! This book is one of those rare love stories that no matter which main character you identify with, you are cheering for both men to win big, and you are blissfully happy when true love conquers all.

EPIC

EPIC: An unlikely couple find true love

Andrew Atler has learned the hard way, fiction is far better than real life. In his romance novels the world is safe, predictable, and there is always a happy ending. Best of all, he can safely fall in love and the person will never know. There he can weave a tale of perfect passion plus pay the bills. Matt Grim flies the colors of Hell’s Legion. When he’s not riding his chopper, he’s working as a bouncer for the Six. Matt’s life consists of drinking, playing in a band, and burning the midnight oil in the dungeon. He lives hard, plays hard, and rides even harder. Two people who would never be a part of the same EPIC love story. But sometimes those fairy tale clichés have a way of working magic. And sometimes…sometimes those happy endings do come true.
